Hi! I'm Noran. I am an Egyptian Living in Japan with my Costa Rican husband and beautiful daughter. I came to Japan to study and I have been here for almost 6 years.

I love sewing since I was little but unfortunately didn’t have anyone one around to teach me. But being in Japan I’m surrounded by plenty of beautiful and cute materials so I thought it would be a great opportunity to start learning by myself.

I try to mix those adorable Japanese materials with the beautiful essence of where i come from. You will find different types of products with Arabic calligraphy (which i love very much) as well as Egyptian and Pharaonic symbols.

Noury is what my family and close friends call me back home, so choosing “Noury Designs” as the name of my shop was an easy choice, it always remind me of Egypt and the people who are very dear to my heart.

My goal is to make beautiful handmade items that you will enjoy as much as i enjoy making them. I do my best to make my items with quality, in a clean environment.
